Schedule a developmental vision, functional vision, or neuro-optometric evaluation with our team. Our eye doctors specialize in evaluating how your visual system functions, not just how clearly you see.

Prepare for Your Appointment
A little preparation before your appointment helps your visit go more smoothly. Before your appointment:

Complete your patient forms before your visit.

Bring any glasses you currently wear.

Bring previous eye care records or referral information, if available.

If your child is coming for an evaluation, let them know there are no shots and no wrong answers. Most children think of the evaluation as a series of activities rather than tests.

We also recommend a good night's sleep and a healthy meal before the appointment.

Our office is open Monday through Friday and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you need to schedule, change, or cancel an appointment outside of business hours, please leave us a message and we'll return your call as soon as possible on the next business day.
The first appointment is an evaluation. After reviewing the findings, your eye doctor will explain whether vision therapy, glasses, prism therapy, another treatment, or no treatment is recommended.
Yes. While much of our practice focuses on children, we also evaluate adults with functional vision problems, including double vision, concussion-related vision changes, stroke-related vision problems, and other neurological vision conditions.
Visual Health & Learning Center is a specialty developmental optometry practice and does not provide emergency eye care.
